We dined at Laila‘s last night, and it was a true illustration of great Indian food and hospitality. From the garlic naan and cucumber Raita to the Baingan Bharta, the Kadi Paneer, and the Chicken Saag (this dish they especially prepared for us), everything was so delicious! The spice levels are fairly moderate (for our taste), and the medium spicy we ordered for all 3 mains could have had a bit more heat, but better this way than the opposite. ;) The atmosphere was inviting, calming, and welcoming & so was everyone on the staff. A big Shoutout to the young lady who gave us some great recommendations / shared her favorite dishes on the menu, and who was exceptionally friendly and professional. We will be back for sure. Dhanyvad!!!

Get the Ragda Patties as an appetizer. They’re a lovely combination of sweet, spicy, and nutty/savory. I’ve never had anything like them. Everything else was as great as you’d expect. Very friendly staff too!

Must try indian cuisine in Asheville. This has very good vibes, beautiful ambience, nice comfortable seating area, tasty food and excellent staff. Ordered Chicken tikka achari and chicken biryani. Chicken tikka achari was fresh, juicy and very well marinated. chicken biryani has proper aroma and spices are well mixed with chicken pieces and rice. Definitely visiting again. Their staff Jaya and Aris are very polite, professional and nice. Overall was a pleasant experience.

Absolutely incredible experience at Leila in Asheville. This is hands down one of the best Indian meals we’ve had. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the chicken achari from the grill, and both dishes were outstanding. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with great care and authenticity. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and every bite felt thoughtfully crafted. What truly elevated the experience was our waiter, Aris. He was exceptional. Very humble, attentive, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the dishes in detail and made sure we felt comfortable with our choices. His service was warm, genuine, and professional. Easily the best waiter we’ve had in a long time. From the food to the service, everything was flawless. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back.

The food is absolutely amazing. I’m gluten and dairy free (allergies) and the options were great. I got to have fried fish for the first time in years! (Chickpea batter). The flavors were all so good. 10/10 highly recommend. Clean bathrooms that smell good as well.
